Half national church and half national museum, Westminster Abbey, founded in 960 A.D., is the stunning setting for Christian worship, coronations, and royal weddings. The interior reflects a diverse array of sculptural and architectural styles. Over 3,000 people, many of them among the most famous and significant in British history, are buried or commemorated at the abbey.
